Our Founders
The sisters behind Bridge to Books:
Katie is a Vice President of Trust at First State Bank and Trust. After graduating from Stillwater Area High School, Katie earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Business Administration Management with a minor in Economics from the College of St. Benedict. She is deeply committed to her community and is an active member of the Stillwater Noon Rotary Club and serves on the board of directors for The Partnership Plan. Katie lives in Stillwater with her sons, Jack and Gavin.
Katie Johnson
Nickie is a Teller Coordinator at Sunrise Banks in St. Paul. Nickie graduated from Stillwater Area High School and attended the College of St. Benedict, where she earned a Bachelors of Arts in Communication. Nickie is looking forward to using her extensive experience in marketing and customer service to help spread the word about the Imagination Library in the Stillwater area. Nickie lives in Rosemount with her husband, Sam, and her sons, Owen and Noah.
Nickie Ferguson
Laurann is an owner and attorney at Galowitz Olson law firm. After receiving her Bachelors of Business Administration in Music Business and J.D. at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, she moved back home to be closer to family. When Laurann wanted to gift the Imagination Library program to her young nephews, she was shocked to learn there was no program active in the area. Laurann decided to put that surprise into action! Laurann lives in Stillwater with her husband, Jon, her son, Kenny, her daughter, Louisa, and their dog, Phoebe.
